Boys and girls, I know you waited for this and its here...the fast and furious and adrenaline-ious Racing sport.
Its the The 2012 Formula One season which will be the 63rd FIA Formula One season and it will be contested over twenty races â€” the longest ever. First race will take place in Australia on 18 March and ends in Brazil on 25 November.

Great start but somewhat boring race. The commentators did a brilliant job of making it lively.

Utterly disappointed in LH. Total Rubbish. He drove ZERO today. No speed, no grit.

Why did Whitmarsh ask both drivers to pit at the same time? The guy is a donkey. damn him.

A lot has happened since I last updated this thread. Apologies.

Well, the main gist is this:
Webber won the last race, the Monaco Grand Prix
And that means that we now have 6 different winners in 6 races so far. Formula 1 at its best.

The first United States Grand Prix at the brand new Circuit of the Americas is go, go, go. A brilliant start from Sebastian Vettel who pulls cleanly away from P1, with Mark Webber attacking Lewis Hamilton around the outside in the battle for second.

It's been a CRACKING race! Great one and the best this season so far...

The season and title decider will be revealed next weekend in Brazil at the InterLagos circuit.

Another nail bitter it will be and most likely in wet conditions!

Brazilian GP: Lewis Hamilton on pole ahead of Jenson Button

Title rivals Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso qualified fourth and eighth. Alonso will start seventh after a penalty for Williams's Pastor Maldonado.

Maldonado missed a weight check and was given his third reprimand of 2012 which triggers a 10-place grid drop to 16th.
Alonso is 13 points behind Vettel and must finish on the podium to have any chance of overhauling the German.
Red Bull's Mark Webber was third, with Ferrari's Felipe Massa fifth and out-qualifying team-mate Alonso for the second race in a row.
It was a tight battle for pole between Hamilton and Button, who missed out by just 0.055 seconds.
"I'm grateful to be able to put the car on the front row and to have had my last qualifying with McLaren as a one-two," said Hamilton. "It is a fantastic job by the team and I hope we can turn it into something positive tomorrow."
